Signs of Foundation Failure

There are many warning signs that the foundation of your home is being affected by the changing soil conditions around your home.  Usually there are small noticeable cosmetic problems that become more noticeable over time.  Some of the most common cosmetic problems (pictured above) are:

  • Cracks in  exterior brick and mortar
  • Bowing and cracking basement walls
  • Chimney pulling away from the home
  • Sloping or uneven floors
  • Windows and doors that stick or become inoperable
